Tamer is an organic chemist with over 6 years’ experience in the synthesis of oligonucleotides. He obtained his PhD from Damietta University (Egypt) in 2015 and continued his research career at the University of Southern Denmark. In 2018 he moved to Australia to join the Centre for Molecular Medicine and Innovative Therapeutics at Murdoch University (Australia). He brings a wealth of knowledge in the design, synthesis and development of gene targeting oligonucleotide drug molecules for screening against several genetic hallmarks implicated in the pathology of various diseases.
