Professor Pfleger is Director, Biomedical Innovation at The University of Western Australia (UWA) and the MTPConnect Western Australian Life Sciences Innovation Hub. He is also Head of Molecular Endocrinology and Pharmacology at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research (UWA Centre for Medical Research), Deputy Director of the Australian Research Council Centre for Personalised Therapeutics Technologies, Chief Scientific Advisor to ASX-listed Dimerix, co-founder of RAGE Biotech and Chair of the Advisory Board of Veintech. Professor Pfleger is President Elect of the Australasian Society of Clinical and Experimental Pharmacologists and Toxicologists and is a member of the British Pharmacological Society International Advisory Group, AusBiotech WA Branch Committee, Life Sciences WA Committee and WA Health Translation Network Management Committee. Professor Pfleger has over 20 years of experience in biomedical research and innovation, and has won multiple local, national and international awards for his science, leadership and entrepreneurship. Most recently, he was elected a Fellow of the British Pharmacological Society.
